Blog / 2015 / I Haven’t Changed a Bit.

January 8, 2015

Over the holidays, I spent some time at my parents’ house and ended up looking through the family photo albums.

That’s where I discovered this gem! When I showed it to my partner, he remarked that I haven’t changed a bit. It’s true: this is still my preferred painting position.

I don’t know whatever happened to this drawing, and I can’t say I’m sad to have lost it. Still, this documentation, courtesy of my mother, makes me happy. It reminds me of my sixteen year old self’s obsession with swirls, reveals an intriguing kind of checkered doodling, and leaves me excited to try reincorporating both into what I’m doing now!
