Lia was another pre-move discovery, like Ayala and SiriOm, Eleanor, and Kelly. We met at an art walk event, and, though I admit I’ve long since forgotten the work Lia had on her gallery walls, the furry friendliness of her gallery dogs, Coco and Nutmeg, remains seared in my mind.
