I’d noticed the car parked in a not-spot in front of Union Coffee where the film crew and I were headed, but I didn’t think too much of it until out pops Jane, then-president of the Lambertville Chamber of Commerce and the person who’d arranged for us to do an interview outside of Carolyn’s shop. This was the first time I was meeting Jane in person, but her welcome had begun long before via our emails.
