Artwork / 2014 / Kiss the Parrot

I’ve loved parrots ever since I was a teenager and saw a video of Alex the Parrot teaching his scientists about the avian brain. This piece is part of a series of painted drawings that I created to illustrate my book about why I don’t copyright my work, and it's not the only one that features a parrot. Many of the images do, including this one of a parrot facing off with a copycat and this one of a parrot being rescued from the copyright fire.
