Series XX! Not the most riveting title, it’s true, but there is a logic, and it goes back to 2011.
That’s when I announced Series X. I wanted to raise some money for a project but I wasn’t totally ready to share everything about it just yet so “X” because it was actually my tenth series and “X” is the roman of numeral for ten, but also “X” because it’s unknown, a secret.
So today I’m announcing Series XX, which, yes, is my twentieth collection of paintings that I will be working on. Also, I’m not totally ready to share everything about this series yet. I only want to share it with the people who love my art most, the people who support my work on Patreon.
And I get that that’s a big change, right? Because for years I’ve been sharing all of my artistic content for free. And for anyone who’s disappointed with this change, I am sorry. And it’s not really that big of a change because I will continue to share plenty of stuff for free.
Also, for those who do want to support my art on Patreon but don’t like the idea of one more monthly subscription—monthly thing that they have to pay—I get it. And there is the possibility of supporting my art on a yearly basis through Patreon. So no new monthly bills, only Series X-exclusive content!
