This is a person who’s just made an astonishing discovery. Seventeen years ago, they made a rash decision. They spent fifty dollars on a single brush, back when fifty dollars was more than a week’s worth of groceries. And then they proceeded to not use that brush. Like, EVER.
Until now!
This brush is a whole lot wider than even the widest brushes I usually use. It doesn’t make any sense for an average-sized painting, but it’s perfect for a mural-sized piece—or, rather, for an indoor mural. Because I’m pretty sure I tried to use it on this mural in 2014, but the wall was too rough for the super-fine quality of this brush.
Right now, this brush is making this mural possible. What I mean is that I don’t know what I would have done if I hadn’t brought it with me. I’m sure I would have figured something out, but I’m glad my past self figured it out for me instead!
