Blog / 2025 / Xmas Exception
November 24, 2025
I haven’t always been the most merry around this time of year. There was this dunking of Christmas consumerism from 2021 and this judicial Grinchiness from 2023. In 2025, partially inspired by Jeanette Winterson’s delightfully peculiar Christmas Days, I’m doing things differently.
As you can see from this sampling, I’ve got plenty of winter cheer available in my print shop. There are 22 designs in all, and they make beautiful cards and t-shirts.
Or, if you prefer the French tradition of sending out New Year’s wishes and you like to follow the Chinese zodiac, here’s a pretty Pegasus for the year of the horse in 2026!
But I also want to be sure that, even with a MAGA-mucked-up economy leaving everybody’s wallets feeling the squeeze, you can still bring the art to the party.
Please feel free to download these images to send to friends! While it’s true that you can always share my art without asking for permission first, I want to emphasize that with these images in particular.
I’ve got the Feministmas meme for your friend who knows that it’s vital to talk about the state of our world...

...and this subtler bit of pointiness for those who prefer not to talk about politics directly. It’s my new image of a cuetlaxochitl—or a “poinsettia” as it’s colloquially (and colonially) known. Whenever I come across this plant, I like to think of it as a beautiful reminder of all the good things that come to the US from Mexico and beyond!
Maybe this post made you think of something you want to tell me? Or perhaps you have a question about my art? I’d love to hear from you!
