Trump has been talking about being President for life since 2018 when Xi Jinping succeeded in getting the Chinese government to give him that power, and, these days, POTUS and his cronies are making propaganda about it on the regular. Believe Trump when he says he wants to be king of America. Believe him, and stand up to him tomorrow.

There is nothing about what the current US administration is doing that’s “business as usual.” I mean, Republican leadership hasn’t been interested in the freedom of most of us to pursue happiness in my lifetime, but these guys aren’t just hot on funding bombs and repulsed by women’s rights. They’re not just excited by the idea of teachers toting guns. They’re convinced that Black and brown people, queer people, disabled people, immigrants, and, yes, even children don’t deserve rights.
Trump, Musk, and the whole Project 2025 gang is working towards a specific goal: make us all subservient to an erratic and greedy tyrant as a means of installing a white supremacist technocratic theocracy and make sure that only oligarchs have the freedom that’s promised to us all in our Constitution.
I’m not about to keep quiet and let them get away with it. I’m protesting tomorrow as part of the Hands Off National Day of Action. And I’m hoping you’ll be there too.
