I used to have trouble painting teeth in portraits, but, ever since I painted this great white, the human variety of chompers seem easier somehow. Actually that’s true of a lot of things in portraiture. Taking a rest from the genre to make Crime Against Nature gave me some much needed perspective. This portrait has especially nice teeth, as does this one too.

Sometimes girls are just a bit bigger than boys.

With the exception of a couple of species of filter feeding sharks who eat mostly plankton, great white sharks are the largest fish in the ocean. Females can grow to over twenty feet long, while males are usually no more than eighteen feet.
