I love flowers of all kinds. I adore their colors, of course, but I also appreciate all their shapes and smells, from pansies and daisies to roses, lillies, and every last dandelion in between. I know I’m not the only one who feels that way about these tenacious yellow-headed plants, because my painting, Children of Spring, is inspired by a lovely poem called “Dandelions” by Frances Ellen Watkins Harper.
