I’ve painted plenty of cats before, both house cats and outdoor ones, and I even painted one in her owner’s arms once. Still, drawing a cat is different. Their faces and expressions are hard enough to capture in paint and in that medium I can layer and correct more easily. In marker on paper, there’s not as much room for trial and error.
