Parable of the Talents by Octavia Butler
This second book in the Earthseed series, much like first which I reviewed last week, stands up well to a rereading, especially when every day we seem to be living more and more in the world described in this novel.
Good Boy by Jennifer Finney Boylan
This is a memoir told via all the dogs who have been a part of Boylan’s life, and it is just as silly and heartbreaking and wonderful as it sounds.
