This is my first ever painting of a ferret and his sweet little ferret face provided some unique challenges. Panda reminded me of these meerkats and this mongoose. I love painting all kinds of pets—dogs, cats, horses, and even imaginary rainbow horses. You can watch the making of Panda’s portrait.
