Artwork / Critics Critiqued / My Own Worst Critic

This is not the self-portrait I originally intended to use for Critics Critiqued. Through an unfortunate series of events, the painting I had planned to hang became unavailable just two days before the show. So I did the only thing I could: I painted a new self-portrait in 48 hours. Needless to say, that is not the timeframe in which I usually work. I have never repeated the feat, and, hopefully, I will never have to.

When I made this public art piece in 72 hours, it was all planned ahead. I knew what my time frame would be before I was hired to create the piece.
