I may not be a mom in the traditional sense of the word, but I am what’s called a “childfree mom.” That’s a person of any gender who nurtures the everliving snot out of a crap-ton of people who are not their biological or adoptive kids and who may actually be adults themselves.

It’s in my capacity as a childfree mom that I created this alphabet book. Through it, I was able to make space for other kinds of moms to do beautiful things, like give their children the chance to decide what animal should represent a given letter! H Is for Havanese Dog comes to you courtesy of one of the Kickstarter backers’ kids, along with Q Is for Quokka, R Is for Raccoon, and T Is for Tarantula.
