The sweet child in this image is only the second artist I’ve ever painted at work—with the extraordinary Marvin Levitt being the first. I met this little girl while at the Camp Stomping Ground artist residency, an experience which inspired a number of mixed media paintings, including this unicorn image and this archery one.
